Black Diamond Show Playlist: 12/26/11 - Hank Williams and more

Since Hank Williams passed away in the back seat of a car New Year's Eve 1952/New Year's Day 1953, I'll try to do a Hank Williams show each year on the show prior to New Year's. I freely admit I stole the idea for a Hank Williams show from John Lupton, a DJ at WVUD, Newark DE. John's show happens every year about 9am on New Year's Day morning. Check it out.

It is amazing what an impact Hank has had on American music. Over 125 compositions. Sales that helped bring country music more and more into the mainstream. Today's show feature some of Hank's music in every half-hour--but other music, too!
